Folk Development
There is a huge amount of eductional and participatory activity taking place all over the country centred on developing and nurturing the folk arts.
Members of FolkArts England are involved in a huge range of these activities and programmes from residential weekend courses to regular weekly classes, from primary school resources to undergraduate degrees.
FolkArts England is working throughout the country to raise awareness and involvement in all aspects of the development of folk arts, by promoting and supporting our members work, by working with other organisations such as Youth Music, Music for Youth and Voluntary Arts Network and by setting and meeting targets focused on education regularly developed by the FolkArts England Education Advisory Group.
