FolkArts England / La Playa Insurance Scheme
Save up to 20% on your insurance premium
• Through the FolkArts England insurance scheme, festivals, events and organisations will benefit from savings of up to 20% on premiums (compared to other schemes).
• For most members the saving should more than cover your FolkArts England membership fee and in some cases save a great deal more!
• La Playa are independent insurance brokers who specialise in the arts.
• This scheme will help protect members from spiraling insurance premiums and the problems of inadequate or unobtainable cover that has become an issue in recent years.
Example Premiums:
• Small events or organisations (turnover of £50,000 or less): If your premium is £500, La Playa will lower it by up to 20% so you could get a saving of approximately £120, which will cover your FolkArts England membership and still save you £60.
• Larger events or organisations If your premium is £1,500, La Playa will lower it by up to 20% so you could get a saving of approximately £320, which will cover your FolkArts England membership and still save you £260!
